ENTRY 02: First Topic in Second Class of The Semester

 Welcome back to another entry for today. So I was supposed to post this last week but for some reason, the entry is gone and I had to redo it again today in class.

  Anyway, last week, I or we, my friends and I managed to learn the first topic of the course which was about the types of blog writing for ELT which is short for the English Language for Technologies. To make it short, there are four types of it. But before that, there is a question that is needed to be answered.


"Why do we use blog?"

  Well, blog is crucial as it has several boons like encouraging and improving reading and writing proficiency. It is also less stressful and less restrictive for students to write up in a blog.

there are 4 different types of blog and they are:


 Weblog - Weblog is an open public domain website which is frequently updated like an online journal. It is easy to handle and manage and one can put up videos or pictures in it.

 Tutor Blog - This blog is made up of several things like:
  • course content and information
  • course syllabus
  • assignments and task
this is blog is managed by our assessor or our lecturer so it is easier for every students to get whatever they need. An example that can be given is cloveclouds which is a tutor website made by my lecturer for her students.


Class Blog - If we have a tutor blog, then we will also have a class blog where every news or information will be posted in there to be read by everyone else. An example for this blog is Internet Technologies for ELT Class Blog .


Last but not least,

Learner Blog - It is similar to a normal blog where this is used or managed by each and every students and they need to upload whatever they were asked to in it.

  Hey, sorry if I have not been updating for a while. I always seem to forgot to post whatever I wrote and instead, save them up as a draft, so it is gonna be a double-post today.   Last time, I learnt about 'CALL' in the class. As I was definitely not paying attention to the lecture, I thought, what about it. Are we going to learn about how to call someone now? But of course it is not that.  CALL is an abbreviation that comes from Computer-Assisted-Language-Learning which is actually have already been used all over the world, in which, CALL is actually a learning process through the medium of computer. For example, those who can still remember their high school experience must know about this:  It is used to help schools to have an efficient teaching and learning process. ENTRY 04: I Need to Look For Something

 Did I tell you that it is gonna be a double-post post today? I think I did. To continue, a few weeks back then, I had learnt in my class on the topic search engines .  I think everyone should be familiar with search engines, right? I mean, you, me, and almost everyone of us in the world who uses gadget and Internet , used search engines.  Does these look familiar to you? I reckon they do.  Most people know what they are, but not many knows what they actually do. Search engines is a web site that collects and organizes content from all over the Internet.  Using these Search Engines needed skills in order to get the exact information that you wanted.  Not only that, I also learnt about the Dark Web . A thorough reading of what is Dark Web can be referred to the link provided but in general, Dark Web  is the World Wide  Web  content, overlay networks that use I nternet,  requiring specific software, configurations or authorization to even access it, far from using.
